Dovetail slides are designed for applications that need smooth, linear movement without risk of backlash.  As such, they an ideal complement for a variety of machines, optical devices and measuring instruments. 

Amongst the benefits of these versatile products are the precise adjustment of processing units, measuring cameras, mirrors, microscopes and laser heads.  They can also be used to fine-tune soldering, plasma and welding heads, and to focus burning nozzles.

Where more complex positioning is required, the dovetail slides can be quickly and simply combined to form cross tables, using fastening screws.

norelem dovetail slides comprise a linear base and moving saddle, both manufactured in aluminium.  They are extremely durable, being designed for dynamic load with a life-time of up to 1 million piston strokes.

Several dovetail slides are available.  Alongside the standard model, norelem supplies a version with end plates.  Where further fine-tuning is required, there are also two products with a micrometer spindle, the second also including a handwheel.  Compatible accessories for design engineers include carriage guides and straps.
